  • Local Processing Only: The Extension operates entirely on your local machine within your Chrome browser. It reads the content of your active Gmail tab for the sole purpose of identifying and extracting multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes.
  • No Data Storage: The Extension does not store, save, or record any of your data, including email content, personal information, or browsing history. The identified MFA code is only held temporarily in your computer's clipboard for you to paste.
  • No Data Transmission: We do not transmit any of your data to our servers or any third-party services. All operations are confined to your browser. Your information never leaves your computer through our Extension.

Permissions

For the Extension to function, it requires permission to read data from your Gmail tabs. This is a standard Chrome permission that allows the extension to scan the page content for MFA codes. We do not use this permission for any other purpose, such as tracking your browsing activity or collecting personal information.

Data Security

Since no data is collected, stored, or transmitted by our Extension, the risk of data breaches related to our Extension is eliminated. The security of your data remains dependent on the overall security of your computer and your Google account.
